KitNipBox: Unbox Playtime Every Month for Your Cat
Cat toys, cat treats and fun – who wouldn’t want to receive a monthly box full of delightful toys and cat treats to spoil your feline friend? Cat toys are a great way, and also one of the easiest ways, to offer your cat a bit of enrichment. And today, I’ll go over why you may want to subscribe to a monthly cat toy box like KitNipBox!
This is the fourth of five articles in our October cat enrichment series.

5 reasons to subscribe to a monthly cat toy box
While I love spoiling my cats, and I don’t need much prompting to do so, here are some reasons why one might want to subscribe to a monthly cat toy box.
- As the saying goes, variety is the spice of life! I mentioned in my 10 Cat Enrichment Ideas post that cats can get bored if they’re offered the same toy to play with. Rotating cat toys is a good idea to keep them interested and engaged. And what better way to do that than with a monthly box delivered right to your door with new cat toys?
- Another reason to subscribe is pure convenience. We lead busy lives, and sometimes we may not have time to stop at the store and pick up new cat toys. Having them delivered ensures you always have new toys to offer your kitty.
- It’s fun being surprised! While the toys are meant for your cat, it’s fun for you to open the box and see what’s inside! It’s almost like a present for you, too.
- Most subscription boxes have a cute theme every month. Many themes are geared around the time of the year. And although your cat could care less, you’ll probably enjoy the cute themed cat toys.
- And lastly, you can join in on the fun and have some bonding and enriching playtime with your cat and their new toys each month.

Subscribing to KitNipBox
If you have a cat with a special diet or food allergies (like my Sophie), when you sign up for KitNipBox, there is a “no treat or food option” at checkout, and they will replace that item if it’s included in a monthly box.
You can also choose between the Happy Cat Box (5 items) or the Multi-Cat Box (7 items), the latter which is meant for households with more than one cat. Oh, and there’s no commitment – you can cancel your subscription anytime!
If you’re ready to subscribe to KitNipBox, at the time of this writing, they currently have a promo to take 25% off the Halloween-themed box with code: SPOOKY25. If it’s no longer available when you sign up, they may have other promos at the time.
The holiday boxes start shipping on November 1st! Here is a sneak peek of that box.

Every morning, as the sun peeks through my curtains, my day begins with a sense of purpose and dedication. My ten adopted cats eagerly await their breakfast, their tails flicking in anticipation. Each one holds a special place in my heart, their individual personalities weaving a tapestry of love and companionship. Among them, two are special needs, requiring a bit more attention and care.
For my special needs fur babies, every day is a gentle dance of understanding and empathy. One of them, a sweet tabby with vision impairment, relies on the familiar sounds and scents of our home. I’ve learned to create a safe haven, arranging furniture with meticulous consideration, so he can navigate freely, never experiencing the frustration of stumbling or uncertainty. The other, a calico with a tender spirit, has taught me the power of patience. She faces mobility challenges with grace, and through gentle encouragement and adapted spaces, she discovers the joy of exploring and playing.
Ensuring the well-being of my feline family extends beyond their physical health. Mental stimulation is just as vital. I’ve transformed our home into a playground of enrichment, offering climbing shelves, interactive toys, and cozy hideaways. Watching them engage with their environment brings immeasurable joy, knowing that I’m providing them with the mental stimulation and happiness they deserve.
In the evenings, we gather for cuddles and affection, forming a circle of warmth and trust. Each cat, with their own unique quirks and preferences, finds solace in my presence. As I stroke their fur, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the opportunity to give them a safe and loving forever home. These ten feline souls have filled my life with purpose, reminding me daily of the boundless capacity for love and the extraordinary connections that can be forged between humans and their cherished animal companions.

I have a senior cat that is constantly having to beat off our younger boy and so it’s a real challenge to keep him occupied so he leaves my sweet Charlie alone and this would come in quite handy in distracting Joey from picking on Charlie who is a lover, not a fighter. Charlie is pure sugar and honey with a dab of maple syrup behind the ears <3
I live in Smithers, BC🇨🇦—a town that has an unofficial “mascot” on Main Street, named Percy😸 He lives with his family, a few doors from the corner of Main Street, but spends his days (and many nights) pawtrolling the retail core of town—checking out stores, staff, friends, and tourists. He’s so popular, he’s got an Instagram profile: @percy_insmithers .
I live nearby. Percy OFTEN visits my cat Mushu and I—sometimes staying for hours or overnight. In the summer, he loves my air conditioner; in the cooler weather, my fireplace. I KNOW both he and Mushu would LOVE new additions to the basket of toys here!
